Cavaliers Team

Highlights:
• The Cavaliers team was formed at the beginning of the 1980’s by a group of guyswho loved to play together and without a sponsor (self sponsored) they were a top contender for at over 20 years.
• The team won multiple State tournaments and either won or was a top 5 finisher in numerous National, Regional, National Regional and World tournaments. They also won the Columbus league championships more times than they can count along with league championships in surrounding counties.
• The Cavaliers were never known for being a home run hitting team but a base hitting/defensive machine that attributed their success to the chemistry of the guys on the team… they were friends/family on and off the field.
• The Cavaliers, can boast that 6 current & 2023 inductees played on the team throughout the years they were together: Jody Wendell and John Dejarnette III (2023) and Fred Lawson, Randy Lawson, Tommy Crawford & Marlin Cox.
