Bobby Baker Bio
He was a player that could play infield or outfield and was solid defensive and he was a great hitter, he could hit line to line and could hit for power when needed. Here are the teams he played for Danek Industry, Paul’s Cafe, Golden Foundry, Cavaliers, Dollars Savers Tax Service, Gibco Lab, Impact Forge and Burt’s Pest Control.
The teams he played on won numerous league championship and won worlds with the Golden Foundry team and won several tournaments and states and worlds with the Cavaliers. Bobby was a 700 + hitter and always one of the top players every weekend. He won numerous mvp and all tourney team awards.
He played the game the right way by doing the fundamentals and playing hard every inning. He made his team mates better players by the way he played.
He also was one of the players to help put together the Hall of Fame team Cavaliers.
Bobby played softball from 1976 to 2016 was one of the best players in Columbus.
