Mary Driver Bio
Mary played for 35 years in Columbus starting in 1964.
She played for Morgan’s Raiders, Sports Center and a few other teams during her career.
She was a left-handed pull hitter who could also play every position.
She coached little girls for a few years at County Stadium.
Mary’s biggest highlight was when Bobby Wissman came up to her and told her she hit .750 that season!
Mary won several women’s league and league tournaments in Columbus Indiana.
She remembers watching a softball game when she was in the 3rd grade and was excited when she got old enough to play and still loves the game
