Dick Hendrickson: Dicks slow pitch career in Columbus started in 1959 where he
played for over 60 years. “Best hands for a 3rd baseman in Columbus” (Phil
Pickens). Dick led by example. His positive attitude kept teammates from getting
discouraged. Dick was always mentally and physically in the game. A very good
hitter but more importantly a great clutch hitter when games were on the line.
Ultimate team player! Dicks slow pitch softball history starts in 1959 (Cummins

Champs, ASA World Regionals, Columbus Athenians, Cummins Industrial State
