Darrel Hatcher Softball Bio
Darrel played slow pitch softball in Columbus Indiana for 37 years from 1072 to 2009.
Known for hitting the ball with power to all fields, he was also a very good defensive player, mainly as an outfielder who had good speed and a very strong accurate arm.
Some of Darrel’s awards were; 1999 National Champs All-Tourney Team, 2000 1st team All American 50+ AAA, 2001 North American Champions All-American 2nd Team, 2002 SPA MVP on offense National Champs, 2003 NSA Senior World Series All-World Team.
Was an original member of the Hall of Fame team Indiana Classics where he played for 6 years for them.
Darrel played for many good teams in Columbus where he was highly respected as a player.
