Nominees Softball History
It is important to answer with as much detail as possible, the following question before submitting your Nomination Form.
- How many years did your Nominee participate in Slow Pitch Softball in Columbus, Indiana?
- What year did he/she start being involved with Slow Pitch Softball in Columbus, Indiana?
- What were the names of the teams he/she played on?
- Did they win any league titles?
- Did they win any league tournament titles?
- Did he/she win any State, Regional or National Championships?
- Did he/she win any individual awards while playing in any sanctioned tournaments
- Tournament MVP
- All-Tournament Teams
- All-American teams
- AU-Star Teams
- Offensive Player Award
- Defensive Player Award
- Outstanding Coach of the Year Award
- How many years did they coach, umpire or Sponsor teams?
- Are they still actively playing or participating as a Sponsor, Umpire, Coach, Scorekeeper etc?
- Do they have any Plaques, Trophies, Certificates, Letters, Newspaper clippings you can share?
- Do they have any statistics that can be shared? Like Batting Average, Home Runs etc?
- What position(s) did they play?
- Name some of their biggest accomplishments while participating in Slow Pitch Softball.
- If your Nominee is elected to be inducted into our Hall of Fame, will you be the person who will present them at the C.I.S.S.H.O.F. Induction Ceremonies Banquet? If not, can you find someone that will be his/hers presenter?
- In the event that the committee might need more information, you will be our point of contact unless you state otherwise.
- If you Nominee does not get elected to be inducted this year, your nomination will carry over into the next year and so forth until they do get selected. Nominees are voted upon and 75¾ of the committees votes must be in the affirmative before Nominee is elected into our Hall of Fame.
- The more information about your Nominee that you can provide will only increase their chances of receiving enough votes to becoming an Inductee into our Hall of Fame.

Tammy Owens – she has played the softball religiously for more than 45 years and continues to play the game to this day. She has coached and continues to coach some of the winningest women’s and competitive coed teams that have played at Lincoln. She is not only a coach to her teams but also a mentor to the young and upcoming players and plays on the teams as well. If anyone is deserving of the HOF she is. Tammy’s love and commitment to softball doesn’t stop there, she has a pure passion for the game. Please take special consideration in choosing Tammy for the Hall of Fame
