Sheila Cox Softball Bio
Sheila was very versatile as a defensive player who could play any position. She was known for doing the splits as a first baseman who could field the ball with the best.
She was usually the lead off hitter because she could place hit to all fields with a high average. Sheila also had good power to go along with her line drive swing.
She played in numerous State, Regionals and many other local tournaments throughout her career and received many trophies, plaques and t-shirts in recognition of her contributions to those teams she played with.
Sheila loved softball and her passion and enthusiasm was contagious to all her teammates. No one was ever more supportive to her teammates than she was.
Sheila had an infamous whistle which always seem to rally her teams.
