Bobbie Fellerman

Bobbie Fellerman Bio
Bobbie Fellerman coached the Scipio National Bank girls softball team in the mid-to-late 1970s and was a pioneer as a female umpire at Dunn (then County) Stadium.
Coached teams to multiple league and tournament championships.
One of the first female softball umpires in the area. Mentor and role model.
Bobbie was an outstanding coach who helped bring softball competition to its apex in the late 70s and early 80s.
Her biggest contribution may have been her leadership as one of the first female umpires in the area, working at County Stadium and acting as a role model and mentor to other umpires.
Bobbie was one of our first-generation players in the (late 60s?) early 70s who shared her love of the game through coaching and later umpiring.
She focused on fundamentals as both a coach and an umpire. She went above and beyond for her girls and she was a role model who broke stereotypes pre-Title IX about just what girls could do as athletes and players.
