Joe Andrews Bio
Joe’s softball career spans over a 40 year period, from 1984 to 2025. He was still playing in the local Senior Leagues in Columbus in 2025.
Known more for his hitting, Joe was as automatic as they come hitting the ball to the backside with a high rate of success. Joes hitting helped many teams he played for become successful.
Joe played softball for 30 years in Shelbyville leagues. 2 years in the Greensburg leagues, 20 years in the Westport fall leagues and 2 years in the Indy Metro league.
He coached in the Senior league for 5 years, umpired for one year. Coached 13-15 yr old girls in Decatur County leagues.
From 1998 to 2017 Joe has won several National Championships, selected MVP 1999 SPA Nationals, and made several All-Star teams.
