He played from 1990-2005. He umpired from 1997-2005.
He was always known for stating, “I am the fastest fat boy around”. His teammates knew he could run the bases faster than anyone.
Shane has played softball in Columbus for many years and has been widely regarded as, one of the best base hitting lefty’s around.
Teams playing in big tournaments would always seek Shane out for him to play with them. Not only in league play but in tournament play as well.
Shane was a big part of the Cavaliers Men’s softball team and was a big reason why this team was so successful throughout many years.
